ホームページ移転のお知らせ

北海道大学国際連携研究教育局（GI-CoRE）北極域研究グローバルステーションは、2016年4月から2021年3月まで、本学総長直轄の組織として運営されてきました。

設置期間満了後、2021年4月1日から2026年3月31日まで、北極域研究センター国際連携研究ユニット（2024年度に総合戦略室に改編）に活動が引き継がれました。北極域研究センター国際連携研究ユニットは、本学総長から「GI-CoRE協力拠点」としての認定を受け、GI-CoREと協力して、国際共同研究・教育を実践してきました。

Notice of the Website Relocation

Since its establishment in April 2016 to March 2021, the Global Station for Arctic Research of the Global Institution for Collaborative Research and Education (GI-CoRE) has operated as an organization under the direct control of the President of Hokkaido University.

Upon the completion of its original term, the activities of the Global Station for Arctic Research were succeeded by the International Collaborative Research Unit, Arctic Research Center (reorganized as the General Strategy Office in FY 2024) for the period from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2026. The International Collaborative Research Unit, Arctic Research Center was certified by the President of Hokkaido University as a “GI-CoRE Cooperating Hub” and, in close cooperation with GI-CoRE, has actively promoted international collaborative research and education.

About GSA

GSA was launched in April 2016 as a research hub to promote interdisciplinary Arctic research and expand international research network, based on close connections with University of Alaska Fairbanks, North-Eastern Federal University, University of Oslo and Nord Univesity.

GSA will utilize the research outcomes on climate and environmental change in the Arctic to create sustainable industries and foster human resources.
