As of January 1, 2018, the Global Station for Big Data and Cybersecurity (GSB) consists of 21 researchers, 15 Support Committee members and two staff members.
The researchers’ home institutes are: 1) Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Hokkaido University; 2) College of Information and Computer Sciences, University of Massachusetts Amherst; 3) School of Electrical and Data Engineering, University of Technology Sydney; and 4) Hokkaido University Hospital, Hokkaido University.
Those researchers are appointed as a Faculty member of the Global Institution for Collaborative Research and Education (GI-CoRE) while retaining their positions at their home institutes; three researchers are appointed from University of Massachusetts Amherst, six from University of Technology Sydney, and 12 from Hokkaido University.
The Support Committee is comprised of 15 faculty members of the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Hokkaido University; they represent five divisions of the graduate school.
GSB operations are supported by two staff members from the Division of International Relations at the Institute for International Collaboration (IIC), Hokkaido University.
