Associate Professor Mai Ishihara, a GSI Hokkaido University unit member, has been awarded the 38th Masayoshi Ohira Memorial Prize by Masayoshi Ohira Foundation<\/a> for her book \u201cAutoethnography of \u2018Silence\u2019: The Story of the Pain of Silent Ainu and Their Care\u201d published on February 28th, 2020 from Hokkaido University Press<\/a>. Her great achievement was also introduced in the Hokkaido Shimbun issued on February 28th, 2022.<\/p>\n
