On June 9th 2022, Professor Peter Jordan, a member of GSI, gave a presentation ”The Earth is Faster Now”: Assessing Local Responses to Environmental Hazards and Catastrophes in Maritime Northeast Asia during the conference “Under pressure? Disasters – climate change – societies (past/now) ” held at Auditorium, Museum of Archaeology, University of Stavanger, Norway for two days.
