ホームページ移転のお知らせ

北海道大学国際連携研究教育局(GI-CoRE)ソフトマターグローバルステーションは、2016年4月の設置以来、これまで本学総長直轄の組織として運営されてきました。

このたび設置期間を満了し、2021年4月1日からは、先端生命科学研究院次世代物質生命科学研究センターソフトマター国際連携ユニットに活動が引き継がれることとなりました。

先端生命科学研究院次世代物質生命科学研究センター ソフトマター国際連携ユニットは、本学総長から「GI-CoRE協力拠点」としての認定を受け、GI-CoREと協力して、なお一層の国際共同研究・教育を実践してまいりますので、今後ともご支援のほどよろしくお願いいたします。

Notice of the Website Relocation

Since its establishment in April 2016, the Global Station for Soft Matter of the Global Institution for Collaborative Research and Education (GI-CoRE) has operated as an organization under the direct control of the President of Hokkaido University.

As of April 1st, 2021, however, the GSS has transitioned into Soft Matter Collaborative Research Unit, Frontier Research Center for Advanced Material and Life Science, Faculty of Advanced Life Science.

We proudly announce that Soft Matter Collaborative Research Unit, Frontier Research Center for Advanced Material and Life Science, Faculty of Advanced Life Science has been certified as a “GI-CoRE Cooperating Hub” by the President to further promote and develop international collaborative research and education in cooperation with GI-CoRE. We appreciate your kind understanding and continued support.

Our Global Station

Global Station for Soft Matter (GSS) was established in April 2016 to further the progressive development of soft matter, which contributes to solve social problems such as aging, environmental pollution and lack of resources. Serving as an international research hub, in collaboration with ESPCI Paris and Duke University and so forth, GSS aims to expand the world-leading fundamental scientific research of soft matter, innovative soft materials discovery and its medical applications, and also establish a division of soft matter to produce multidisciplinary graduates of science and engineering. GSS is expected to provide one of the most innovative platforms of soft matter research and education in the world.
