The 6th Joint Conference on Informatics in Biology, Medicine and Pharmacology (IIBMP2017) will be held from Sept. 27 to Sept. 29 on Hokkaido University Sapporo campus.
GSB is a cosponsor of the conference and supports two main lectures – the keynote lecture by Dr. Takashi Gojobori of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), and the invited lecture by Dr. Satoru Miyano of the Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo.
Dr. Miyano’s invited lecture and Dr. Gojobori’s keynote lecture are scheduled for Sept. 27 and Sept. 28 respectively from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m at Akira Suzuki Hall of the Frontier Research in Applied Science Bldg., Hokkaido University.
In addition to these special lectures, which are intended for experts, a public lecture is scheduled for Oct. 1 at Kinokuniya Sapporo’s event hall “Inner Garden.” The lecture will be given by Dr. Ichigaku Takigawa of Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Hokkaido University. In this casual talk, Dr. Takigawa will discuss Machine Learning technology.
