While given in a regular graduate course, any graduate students and faculty members are welcome to attend these lectures. Registration is not required.

The course – run from Jul. 31 to Aug. 4 – consists of eight lectures taught by professors from: Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Hokkaido University; Information Initiative Center, Hokkaido University, and University of Massachusetts Amherst.
