Dr. Joyce will be presenting on “Responsible Archaeology: Archaeology and Indigenous Peoples in a Central American Context,” with a focus on ethical responsibilities, community engagement, and the creation of knowledge that supports Indigenous practices. Case studies of the Honduran Lenca will be highlighted. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A session.
