GI-CoRE is pleased to announce that the 10th GCB Biomedical Science and Engineering Symposium, which is jointly organized by Hokkaido University and Stanford University, will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
To promote international collaborative research and education in Biomedical Science and Engineering, this symposium has been held annually since 2014 at Hokkaido University.
Following last year, this year’s edition will be held in a hybrid format with virtual and in-person participation.
The 10th symposium will focus on “Oligometastasis” featuring a variety of researchers who lead the cutting-edge research in Radiation Biology, Medical Physics, Radiation Therapy, and Diagnostic Imaging.
All presentations and discussions will be delivered live via Zoom with prior registration.

このたび、北海道大学大学院医学研究院医理工学グローバルセンターでは、8月20日（日）に「The 10th GCB Biomedical Science and Engineering Symposium」を開催いたします。
本シンポジウムは、毎年「医理工学」をテーマに、米国スタンフォード大学が共催する国際シンポジウムです。北海道大学・スタンフォード大学の研究者のみならず、世界を牽引する多彩な研究者にご登壇いただきます。今回は「オリゴメタスタシス」にフォーカスし、放射線生物学、医学物理学、放射線治療学、画像診断学の各分野における最先端の研究発表、ディスカッションが行われます。
